Bubbly: Personal Branding

Sarah Miller. No stranger to this blog. I’ve said more than once, I believe, that she is my muse – and that is for so many reasons.

Sarah is one of the easiest people to talk to that I’ve ever met in my life. You immediately get her vibe – it’s a great vibe, authentic, open, grounded, kind, and honest. You get right away that she just cares – really cares, not that she’s humoring you just because you’re sitting in her chair.

And I say “sitting in her chair” because that’s how I met Sarah – Sarah is an incredible hair artist. I’m not just saying that because I’m biased; she really is. I’m married to someone with truly incorrigible hair. Ben has so many cowlicks and a number of scars from a previous surgery that makes his hair stick up in all sorts of crazy ways. Sarah is the only person who can give Ben a haircut that looks good on day one and lasts through day 121 (and I should know – she was the last person to give Ben a haircut before lockdown).

So if you need a hair artist for anything, be sure to check her out at sarahmillerhair.com.

Sarah shows up on my blog so frequently because I’ve spent many hours over the years dreaming up and brainstorming all kinds of projects while I’ve sat in her chair. And not just photo shoots – Sarah is also an incredible artist, and in a lot of ways, our artistic paths have dovetailed at many points. We’ve dreamed up paintings and career changes and art shows and creative processes and website updates… big dreams and small dreams and all kinds of dreams. Not all those visions and ideas have come to life (yet) but the point being that, Sarah is the kind of person who creates the space and environment to dream. A muse, and a person I’m so thankful to have in my life.
